Sam Hall, Cyber Policy Lead at the UK’s Office to the African Union
Sam Hall is the Cyber Policy Lead at the UK’s Office to the African Union. He is also a member of the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) Africa Cyber Network, and is based in Addis Ababa.
Sam works to increase cooperation and partnership between the UK and the AU commission, member states, and other regional organisations in the fields of cyber and technology. Sam started his government career at the UK’s Department for International Development (now part of FCDO), working on both security and technology issues.
He then worked as policy advisor on a range of international and foreign policy issues at the UK Cabinet Office before returning to the FCDO.
