Major Given Shingange

Major Given Shingange is Co-Founder (with Prof Bruce Watson and Andre Zaaiman) and Director of the Institute for Defence, Security and Intelligence. He is also the Non-Executive Director of AvumaTech, A cyber security company based in South Africa, and Connecting The Dots Training and Consulting Services. He is also serves as a cyber security consultant for the South African Government.

Major Shingange is a former permanent force member of the South African National Defense Force (currently serving as a Reserve Force member) and a graduate of the South African Military Academy. He is currently pursuing his post graduate studies in Knowledge and Information Systems Management at Stellenbosch University.
